Ethernet: A Multinational Oil and Gas Company Installs Cablesys Pre-terminated Patch Panel System

Blaine, Washington - IT staff at a multinational oil and gas company installed Cablesys’ Pre-terminated Patch Panel System. To expand their network, they deployed 48 Ethernet ports over a Category 6 (CAT 6) copper-rated system. Cablesys helped by building the materials.
Cablesys built two 24-Port CAT 6 patch panels which included four 75-foot cable assemblies and two bracket panels. The cables were assembled with CAT 6 keystone connectors and snap-in bezels on each end to connect to the panels. Cablesys bundled and labeled the cables to make routing and identification easy.
Once their staff received the materials, they screwed the bracket panels onto server racks, routed the cables, and patched the connectivity. The project required no on-site termination.
