Cablesys’ Pre-terminated Ethernet Patch Panel System offers technology professionals a simple way to install patch panels within the data center. While a traditional installation can involve hiring a contractor to do the work, the pre-terminated patch panel simplifies the process to the point that any IT Manager or their staff can do it themselves.
Below are helpful links to guide you through the process:

What Are the Benefits?
Using Cablesys’ Pre-terminated Patch Panel System offers greater advantages compared to the traditional 110-Type Patch Panel System. The graph illustrated on the right compares the differences in time and cost.
- 90% less installation time
- 50% less labor and material cost
- No training or certification needed
- No need to buy test and labeling equipment
- 15-year performance warranty
- Single vendor, no waiting for materials
How is the System Built?
Cablesys follows a stringent quality control procedure to assure that every system has been built, inspected and tested to comply with strict FCC, TIA/EIA, and UL standards. Cablesys assembles the system in-house and ships it from California.
Step 1: Terminate
Step 2: Bundle

Where to Install
Cablesys’ Pre-terminated Patch Panel System is typically installed in enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, server farms, cloud storage networks, and telecommunication rooms. The system is offered in different configurations to meet common applications.
Direct Connect
An easy way to connect patch panels together between server or storage cabinets is to use the Pre-terminated Ethernet Bezel-to-Bezel Patch Panel.
Pre-terminated patch panels are great to make a permanent link for data center cabling. Cablesys offers a bezel to bezel
Using the bezel to bezel cable assembly, a can connect a switch/network cabinet to a server/storage cabinet. Using a bezel to modular plug cable assembly allows you to directly connect a patch panel and network switch.

Switch Port Replication
Cablesys’ offers a quick way to replicate the ports on a switch by using the Bezel to Modular Plug Patch Panel. One end of the cable assembly has modular plugs that connect to the ports on the switch. The other end of the cable assembly snaps into the bracket panel. This patch panel provides two advantages; faster maintenance incase switches need to be replaced and less interference with the switch ports when changes need to be made to the patch panel.

Mobile Connect
Using the Bezel to Mobile Box or Outlet Box Patch Panel, you can bring connectivity to any room. Our protective boxes provide a quick and easy access point of data ports. This cable assembly is ideal for open architectural environments such as temporary workstations, POS terminals, warehouses, and more.

1. Choose Connectivity
- Bezel to Bezel
- Bezel to Modular Plugs
- Bezel to Outlet Box
- Bezel to Mobile Box (CAT6 and CAT5e only)
2. Choose Cable Rating
- Riser-rated CMR
- Plenum-rated CMP
Consider fire ratings of material and airflow. Most data center environments can use riser-rated cable (CMR). Use CMR in vertical settings, such as cable running between floors through cable risers. Use plenum-rated cable (CMP) in raised flooring systems, drop ceilings, and air handling ducts. Always consult with city or building authorities for the latest codes before deciding the type of cable.
3. Choose Bandwidth
- 10G CAT6A Shielded (FTP)
- 10G CAT6A Unshielded (UTP)
- 1G CAT6e Unshielded (UTP)
- VolP CAT5e Unshielded (UTP)
Consider what active equipment or devices will be supported throughout the entire network. Use Foiled Twisted Pair (FTP) in environments with high Electromagnectic Interference (EMI) or Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). Use Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) in environments with low interference.
4. Choose Length
- 10 to 295 feet
Consider accessibility to active equipment and the layout of the room when measuring, then round up to the nearest foot. We can custom build up to 295 feet per TIA® standard.
5. Order Bracket Panel and Cable Management Brackets (sold separately)
- Blank 4-Bezel Bracket Panel with 3" and 5" Cable Management Brackets
- Blank 4-Bezel Bracket Panel with 3" Front Cable Management Bracket
- Blank 4-Bezel Bracket Panel
- Blank 1-Bezel Plug & Play Cassette
A bracket panel is required to mount the cabling onto the rack or cabinet. The panel has four ports to snap in bezels. If there are any unused ports, Cablesys offers a blank bezel to cover them. Cable management brackets help organize and secure cords and cables.
